Quick Check in
Your Progress
Small breaks. Real relief.
Mindful Breaks keeps stress relief simple: check in with yourself, take a short guided exercise, and watch gentle progress build — no account, no feed, no noise.
Check in, in seconds
Tap how you're feeling — Calm, Anxious, Focused, or Overwhelmed — then optionally add stress and energy levels, tags like School or Exams, and a short note. You'll get a recommended next step every time.
Breathe it out
Nine guided exercises across breathing, mindfulness, and grounding — with animated visuals, plus spoken cues and haptic pacing on the breathing exercises. Each one takes 3 to 8 minutes, sized to fit a real student schedule.
See your patterns
A day streak, weekly stats, a stress-trend chart, and four gentle achievements help you notice what helps — motivation without guilt trips.
Nine exercises. Three ways to reset.
Each exercise guides you step by step with animation — with spoken cues and haptic pacing where they help most.
Breathing
Slow your body down with paced breathing patterns.
Mindfulness
Come back to the present moment, one sense at a time.
Grounding
Steady yourself when things feel like too much.
Durations shown are each exercise's in-app label. Spoken guidance uses your device's built-in text-to-speech and can be turned off anytime in Settings.

Your feelings are none of our business
Mindful Breaks is 100% offline and on-device. There's no account to create, no cloud, no analytics, and no tracking — your check-ins never leave your phone.
Fully offline
No networking of any kind. The app works the same in airplane mode as it does anywhere else.
No account, ever
Just tell the app your name so it can greet you. No email, no password, no sign-up screen.
Optional passcode lock
Add a 4-digit passcode that locks the app whenever you leave it. It's stored only as a salted, iterated hash — never as plain text.
Hidden in the app switcher
A privacy cover hides your check-ins the moment you switch apps, so snapshots never show private content.
Designed to work for all abilities
Accessibility isn't a settings page afterthought — it's built into onboarding itself, and both options are on by default.
Audio Descriptions
Breathing phases and article text are spoken aloud — helpful for low vision, or for breathing with your eyes closed.
Enhanced Visual Cues
Big captions and haptic buzzes mark every phase change — designed for users with hearing loss.
Screen reader support
Every control carries VoiceOver labels and hints, so the whole app can be used without looking at it.
Your text, your size
Supports Dynamic Type sizes, with high-contrast color choices throughout.
Breathe from your wrist
The standalone watchOS app puts a moment of calm one glance away — no phone required.
- Three breathing patterns — 4-7-8 for calming, Box for focus, and Calm for simple in-and-out
- Haptic pacing taps your wrist on every phase — you can breathe with your eyes closed
- One-tap mood check-ins and a Today view of your sessions
